HUMANFORCE THRIVE CREDIT REPORTING POLICY

 

In this Credit Reporting Policy, 'us', 'we' or 'our' means Earnd Pty Ltd trading as Humanforce Thrive (ABN 46 625 490 968) (Humanforce Thrive). We respect, and are committed to protecting the privacy of your credit information. We are required to comply with Part IIIA of the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) (Privacy Act). In addition to this Credit Report Policy, please also see our Statement of Notifiable Matters.  

 

The type of credit information that Humanforce Thrive collects and holds, and how Humanforce Thrive collects and holds that information

 

Humanforce Thrive collects and holds “credit information”, which may include:

  • borrower identification information such as your name, date of birth and employer details;
  • consumer credit liability information about the credit you have had with us,
  • your repayment history, amounts, fees and dates;
  • default information relating to loan repayments over $150 that are more than 60 days overdue;
  • the amount of credit that a borrower has requested;
  • publicly available information about borrowers that relates to creditworthiness;
  • insolvency information from the National Personal Insolvency Index, court proceeding information in relation to credit and arrangement information; and
  • a reasonably formed opinion that you have engaged in a serious credit infringement in relation to credit that was provided to you as a consumer, for example, that you:
  • were (or where attempting to) fraudulently obtain credit; or
  • are fraudulently evading (or attempting to evade) your credit obligations; or
  • are no longer intending to comply with your credit obligations as we have not been able to contact you for 6 months in accordance with the Privacy Act.
  • We collect this information in different ways, such as through our dealings with you, from your employer as they make repayments under your authorisation, and from publicly available registers.
  • We take reasonable steps to ensure that the credit information that we hold is free from misuse, interference, loss, unauthorised access or modification. Examples of these steps include:
  • using a reputable Australian-based web services provider;
  • securing information, and implementing reasonable controls;
  • having internal procedures and measures limiting access to credit information only to those that need access for their legitimate activities; and
  • protecting and monitoring our systems.

Humanforce Thrive does not hold credit eligibility information.

Humanforce Thrive does not obtain credit reporting information from credit reporting bodies so does not derive CP Information. 

 

Why Humanforce Thrive collects, holds, uses and discloses credit information and credit eligibility information

Humanforce Thrive collects, holds, uses and discloses credit information for purposes reasonably necessary for our business activities, to provide its services and for reasons permitted in the Privacy Act and by law. These purposes may include:

  • to assess applications for credit;
  • for the ongoing servicing and administration of our accounts and products;
  • to assist with the management of loans, outstanding debts, complaints and legal proceedings;
  • to assist borrowers if it appears that they are at risk of default;
  • for internal management, product purposes and data analysis;
  • to undertake funding, securitisation activities and debt assignments; and
  • to meet our legal and regulatory requirements (such as reporting matters to regulators or enforcement bodies when authorised or required by law).

 

Offshore disclosure

We host our web services on an Australia-based cloud, and do not send credit information to offshore recipients. However, it is possible that parties to whom you have authorised us to disclose your personal information, such as your employer or a service provider, may send credit information offshore. The relevant countries are unknown to us at the time of preparing this Policy.  Where applicable, we take reasonable steps to require our service providers to protect your credit information in accordance with the Privacy Act.

 

How to access and correct  your credit information and credit eligibility information

To access or correct your credit information and credit eligibility information, please contact us.  If we are unable to give you access, or we do not agree to your correction request, we will give you a written response explaining our decision. We will need to verify your identity prior to providing your credit information. Your request to access information is free, but we may charge an administrative fee to provide the information.

 

How to complain if you feel that Humanforce Thrive has failed to comply with its privacy obligations, and how we will manage your complaint

If you feel that we have fallen short of the standards required under the Privacy Act, please contact us in writing, and provide full details about your concern to enable us to investigate. We will attempt to resolve your concern within a reasonable timeframe, and at least within 45 days.  We will contact you if we need more information, and we will give you a final written reply with our resolution, including any reasons for disagreeing.
